”Heartbreak turns the human being into a corny, oversentimental and pathetic little asshole.”

HEARTBREAK FOR DUMMIES should have played at Momentum Theatre in April 2020. But we are no longer allowed to go out and heal our heartache togehter. The theaters have closed the doors, but instead Partner in Crime gives you four small episodes to help you with HEARTBREAK IN ISOLATION.

"It's not just a podcast. It's not a radio drama either. It's theater right into the ears.

We are in a crisis. Denmark has closed down to reduce the infection of COVID-19. The theaters are closed and work put on hold indefinitely. Theatre occurs in the meeting with the audience, but due to the current separation, the theatre has lost its existence. We have rethought 'Heartbreak for Dummies' and further developed it into a new format - a four-part auditory work based on excerpts of text and music from the theatre performance. We not only recorded the performance as radio drama, but developed it from theatre to sound and in this work insisted on using theatrical means and processes in creating the format."
